Who are the judges? What is their philosophy?

Being a judge at the REUNION competition is a privilege. We select the best judges based on their integrity. We will be able to reveal the list of judges selected for the next edition when the application process is completed.

Is filming allowed?

It is forbidden to film. However, the REUNION competition offers a high quality video service at a very affordable price. To know the rates, please consult the section Create.

Is it possible to reserve a block of rooms at the hotel? Is there a deadline to proceed?

When can I register?

Your dance studio management can contact us at the following email address: info@thereunioncompetition.com afin de recevoir le document approprié. Nous acceptons les réservations à partir du mois de juin de l’année précédant la compétition. Les inscriptions officielles débuteront vers le mois d’août.

Is there a deadline to register?

The deadline for registration is 4 months before the start of the competition. However, we recommend that you register as soon as possible, as places are going fast!

How much does it cost to register?

How do I pay my registration fee?

We accept payment by cheque, Interac transfer or direct deposit. Detailed information will be sent to you by email, along with your official invoice.

Can I make changes even if I have completed my registration?

Changes can be made via your online profile until the registration deadline. After this date, you will be charged for any changes. Simply ask us to unblock your account via the following email address: info@thereunioncompetition.com

Can I get a refund after I register?

Once the registration is completed and the final payment received, it is unfortunately not possible to obtain a refund.

When will the competition schedule be available?

The schedule will be available one month prior to the competition.

How long does my choreography have to be?

See the Rules for more information. Please note that points will be deducted from the final score if your choreography does not respect the maximum length imposed in the rules.

What is the deadline for submitting my music? What is the procedure?

To send us your music, simply log in to your online profile and upload the audio files in the appropriate section. Please note that only .wav/.mp3/.mp4 files will be accepted. The deadline for submitting your music is 2 months before the event.

What are the dimensions of the stage? Is there a dance floor?

• Les dimensions minimales de la scène sont de 40 pieds de largeur par 36 pieds de profondeur.
• A dance floor will cover the stage to ensure the safety of the dancers.

When will I be able to get my results?

The results will be filed in the school file in the registration software.

I don't agree with my score, can I object to this decision?

Please note that each choreography will be scored by judges specially qualified in the style for which you have registered, in order to obtain the most objective, impartial and fair judgment possible. It will not be possible to contest your score.

How can I be sure that my music is appropriate?

See the Rules for more information. Please note that points will be deducted from the final score if the music of your choreography does not respect the rules.

When will the showcase take place?

Le showcase aura lieu le samedi 4 mai 2024.

How can I participate in the showcase?

Showcase participants are selected from the highest scoring choreographies and the judges' "Elevate Mentions".

When will you announce the acts selected for the showcase?

L’annonce officielle des numéros participants au showcase se fera lors de la dernière remise de prix avant le showcase.

What is the cost to attend the showcase? How do I get the tickets?

A few weeks before the event, tickets will go on sale on our website, in the ShowcaseTo make sure you don't miss anything, follow us on social networks!

If I attend the showcase, do my companions have to pay for their tickets?

Les spectateurs (parents, amis et fans) doivent acheter leur billet. Un billet sera remis au(x) directeur(s) du studio de chaque chorégraphie sélectionnée.

If I was not able to purchase my ticket quickly enough, can I purchase a video of the showcase?

There will not be a video of the showcase for sale. However, it is possible that the numbers will be broadcast on social networks in the weeks following the event.

Are there any conventions offered outside of your competition dates?
